Job Description

Atlassian is seeking a passionate and innovative Remote E-learning Developer to join our dynamic Learning & Development team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying engaging digital learning experiences that empower our global teams. You will transform complex information into accessible, interactive, and effective e-learning modules, contributing directly to the growth and success of our employees worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive e-learning modules, courses, and digital learning assets using authoring tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content, define learning objectives, and ensure accuracy.
  • Apply instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning solutions.
  • Develop multimedia elements such as graphics, animations, and simple videos to enhance learning content.
  • Implement assessments and evaluations to measure learning effectiveness and engagement.
  • Ensure e-learning content is SCORM/xAPI compliant and compatible with various Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Maintain and update existing e-learning modules to ensure content remains current and relevant.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging e-learning technologies and instructional design trends.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise 360).
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Experience in developing interactive and engaging digital learning content.
  • Basic graphic design and multimedia development skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for advanced e-learning development.
  • Portfolio demonstrating previous e-learning projects.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology company.
