Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented E-commerce Personalization Engraver to join our dynamic team in Norfolk, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced laser engraving machines to personalize a wide range of products for our e-commerce customers. You will play a crucial part in bringing unique and custom items to life, ensuring precision, quality, and timely completion of all personalization orders. This position requires a keen eye for detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain industrial laser engraving machines for product personalization.
- Load and unload materials and products into laser engravers safely and efficiently.
- Review order specifications and artwork files to ensure accurate engraving parameters.
- Perform quality checks on engraved items to ensure they meet design and quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues, reporting major malfunctions to maintenance.
- Clean and organize the workstation and equipment regularly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with production and fulfillment teams to meet daily output goals.
- Manage and organize inventory of materials used for engraving.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating machinery, preferably laser engravers or similar industrial equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency for operating machine software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) for basic file manipulation.
- Experience with quality control processes.
- Technical certification or vocational training in relevant fields.
