Job Description
Are you looking to start a career in manufacturing? Saskatoon Shoe Works is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Shoe Factory Gluing Assistants. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. You will play a crucial role in the production process, contributing to the assembly of various footwear styles, ensuring quality and efficiency in our production line.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply adhesive to shoe components accurately and consistently.
- Assist in the assembly of shoe parts according to production specifications.
- Operate and maintain gluing equipment under supervision.
- Inspect components for quality defects before and after gluing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or material deficiencies to supervision.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
