Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Scaffolding Yard Hand to join our team in Goulburn. This is a manual, hands-on role perfect for someone who is reliable, possesses a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn. As a Yard Hand, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our scaffolding yard, ensuring materials are organized, maintained, and ready for dispatch. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, sort, and stack scaffolding materials (tubes, fittings, boards) in the yard.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using manual methods and potentially forklifts (if certified, training can be provided).
- Inspect scaffolding components for damage and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard environment.
- Perform general laboring duties as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational deadlines.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or manual labor role.
- Forklift license (LF class) or willingness to obtain one.
- Knowledge of scaffolding components and terminology.
