Job Description
Are you looking for a dynamic role where you get to drive a variety of cars every day? BCA is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Auto Auction Lot Drivers to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have a keen interest in vehicles. You will be responsible for moving vehicles safely and efficiently around our auction site, ensuring they are ready for inspection and sale. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those new to the automotive industry or looking for a career change.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move vehicles from one location to another within the auction site.
- Park vehicles in designated areas, ensuring proper spacing and organization.
- Inspect vehicles for any visible damage before moving them and report findings.
- Follow all site safety procedures and traffic regulations.
- Assist with general lot maintenance and cleanliness as required.
- Ensure vehicles are presented appropriately for auction viewings.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements when necessary.
Required Skills
- Full, clean UK driving license.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- No prior experience as a lot driver required – full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a logistics or automotive environment.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with auction processes.
