Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided forklift training programs and safety inductions.
- Learn to safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) under supervision.
- Assist with loading, unloading, stacking, and moving products and materials within the warehouse.
- Support inventory management by accurately picking and staging orders.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines diligently.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adapt to varying workloads and prioritize tasks as directed by supervisors.
Required Skills
- No prior forklift experience required; full training provided.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety instructions and procedures.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor environment (non-forklift specific).
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety principles.
