Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Recycling Plant Quality Sorter to join our team in Kearney, NE. This is an immediate hire position, offering full-time hours and comprehensive training for individuals with no prior experience in recycling. As a Quality Sorter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our recycling operations by identifying and separating various materials on a conveyor belt. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided to ensure your safety and comfort on the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and separate recyclable materials (e.g., plastics, paper, cardboard, glass) from non-recyclable items on a moving conveyor belt.
- Ensure materials are sorted according to established company standards and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Communicate any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic comprehension of safety instructions.

Preferred Qualifications
