Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Transporting patients safely and comfortably between wards, departments, and clinics.
  • Moving equipment, medical records, samples, specimens, and laboratory results around the hospital.
  • Delivering mail, supplies, and laundry to various areas.
  • Assisting with the safe movement of deceased patients to the mortuary.
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in communal areas and equipment.
  • Responding promptly to requests from medical and nursing staff.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
  • Providing compassionate support to patients and their families.
