Job Description

Sage Group plc is seeking an experienced and visionary Human Resources (HR) Director to lead our strategic HR initiatives and foster a positive, productive work environment. This critical leadership role will involve overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and compliance. The successful candidate will be a key strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving HR strategies that align with our business goals and support our global workforce. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee talent acquisition and retention programs, ensuring a robust pipeline of skilled professionals, including international recruitment processes.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Drive organizational development, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions, particularly related to international hires and visa sponsorship.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership on all HR-related matters.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as an HR Director.
  • Demonstrable experience in global HR management and understanding of international employment laws.
  • Strong track record in strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and best practices.
  • Experience with visa sponsorship processes and supporting international talent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience within the software or technology industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading HR transformations or significant organizational change.
