Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual to join our team as an End of Day Sanitization Operative for our butcher shop floor. This entry-level role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of hygiene and safety. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. You will be responsible for ensuring the butcher counter and surrounding areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after closing hours, contributing to a clean and safe environment for both colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough sweeping and mopping of the butcher shop floor area at the end of each day.
- Sanitize all surfaces, including counters, cutting boards, and equipment, according to company health and safety guidelines.
- Empty and clean waste bins, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
- Replenish cleaning supplies as needed and report any low stock to management.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized cleaning supply area.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or hazards on the shop floor.
- Assist with other general cleaning duties in the store as required.
