Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our Nelson office as a Filing & Post Room Clerk. This is an immediate start, entry-level position perfect for someone looking to begin their career in a professional services environment. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office, handling essential administrative tasks related to mail, filing, and general office support. Key Responsibilities

  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail and parcels promptly and accurately.
  • Preparing outgoing mail and coordinating courier services.
  • Managing physical and digital filing systems, ensuring all documents are organised and easily retrievable.
  • Scanning, archiving, and retrieving important documents.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the post room and common areas.
  • Assisting with general office administrative tasks as required.
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, including data privacy and confidentiality.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite familiarity is a plus).
