Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Magazine Bundling Operative to join our busy distribution centre in Leeds. This is a fast-paced, end-of-line role crucial to ensuring magazines are correctly bundled, packaged, and prepared for dispatch. You will be an integral part of our operations team, contributing to the smooth flow of goods through our facility. Key Responsibilities
- Operate bundling and strapping machinery to prepare magazines for dispatch.
- Inspect magazines for quality control, ensuring they meet specified standards.
- Accurately count and bundle magazines according to order requirements.
- Load and unload materials onto production lines and pallets.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or product defects.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
