Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Car Valeter / Wash Attendant to join our busy team in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for an immediate start in a full-time role within the automotive industry. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided to the right candidate. You will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are presented to the highest standard, contributing significantly to our customer satisfaction and brand reputation. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and are ready to learn, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Clean vehicle exteriors to a high standard, including washing, waxing, and tyre shining.
- Detail vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, dashboard cleaning, and window polishing.
- Perform engine bay cleaning and wheel arch detailing.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and quality assurance before handover to customers.
- Move vehicles safely around the premises and prepare them for delivery or display.
- Manage and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting.
- Punctual, reliable, and a team player.
- Willingness to learn and take instruction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car valeting or a similar role (though not essential).
- Basic knowledge of car cleaning products and techniques.
- A passion for cars and the automotive industry.
