Job Description
We are immediately seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Gourmet Meal Kit Assembly Line Associates. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately assembling high-quality meal kits in a chilled production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for immediate employment in a fast-paced, food-focused setting. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for those with no prior experience in food production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble gourmet meal kits according to precise recipes and quality standards.
- Accurately measure and portion ingredients into designated packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in a chilled environment.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Inspect components for quality and report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow and meet daily targets.
- Operate basic food packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory rotation and stock management as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a chilled environment (typically 0-4°C).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 20 lbs safely.
- Basic understanding of food safety principles (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food production or assembly line setting (not required, but an asset).
- Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
