Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and organized Vending Machine Snack Packer to join our dynamic team in Northampton. In this crucial entry-level role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and packing snack and beverage boxes for our vending machine drivers. This involves carefully selecting items, ensuring correct quantities, and organizing boxes efficiently for timely dispatch. Attention to detail and a methodical approach are key to ensuring our vending machines are always stocked with the right products. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in a supportive warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack snacks, drinks, and other vending products into designated route boxes.
- Verify product quantities and ensure packing lists match order requirements.
- Stage packed boxes in an organized manner for easy loading by drivers.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe packing station and warehouse area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Report any product discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading packing lists.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 10-15 kg regularly.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- No prior experience is necessary; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or production role.
- Familiarity with basic inventory processes.
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety principles.
