Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Auction Car Driver to join our team in Reading. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with a valid driving license who are looking for a steady, hands-on role in a bustling environment. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently move a variety of vehicles across our auction lot, ensuring they are parked in the correct locations for inspection, auction, or dispatch. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently drive various types of vehicles (cars, vans) across the auction site.
  • Park vehicles accurately in designated areas, ensuring optimal space utilization.
  • Perform basic visual checks on vehicles for any new damage before moving them.
  • Adhere strictly to all on-site speed limits, traffic rules, and safety regulations.
  • Report any vehicle malfunctions, damages, or incidents immediately to supervisors.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and efficiency throughout all tasks.
  • Assist with other yard duties as required to support auction operations.

Required Skills

  • Valid UK Driving License (Category B) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Good spatial awareness and basic parking skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
