Job Description
Are you passionate about sneakers, streetwear, and connecting with people? Foot Locker in Burlington, VT is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Store Associate to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the latest trends, help customers find their perfect style, and be part of a fun, supportive culture. We welcome individuals with a passion for our products and a drive to provide excellent service, even if you’re new to retail. Full training will be provided to help you succeed and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers on the sales floor, providing exceptional service and product knowledge.
- Assist customers in finding the right products, sizes, and styles that meet their needs and preferences.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including merchandising new arrivals.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and organizing the backroom.
- Stay up-to-date with current sneaker and streetwear trends, product releases, and promotions.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues with a positive and professional attitude.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and create a positive store atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a passion for customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role (not required, but a plus).
- Familiarity with sneaker culture, streetwear brands, and current fashion trends.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
