Job Description
Are you passionate about the magic behind live shows and events but have no prior experience? Village Roadshow Theme Parks is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Stagehand. This is an incredible opportunity to start your career in the vibrant entertainment industry. We believe in nurturing talent, so no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive, hands-on training to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning the ropes of stage operations, technical setup, and event support for our diverse range of shows and attractions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, operation, and strike of stage equipment, props, and scenic elements for various shows and events.
- Learn and execute lighting, sound, and visual effects cues under supervision.
- Support the technical team with equipment maintenance and inventory.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team including performers, technicians, and production staff.
- Assist with scene changes and prop handling during live performances.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised backstage environment.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous learning to develop new skills.

- Knowledge of safety protocols in a workplace setting.
