Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Entry Level Printing Finish Hand in our Bindery Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no prior experience in printing or bindery work to start a career in a dynamic industry. Full training will be provided on all aspects of bindery operations, including cutting, folding, collating, and packaging printed materials. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate bindery equipment under supervision, including cutters, folders, stitchers, and laminators after comprehensive training.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of printed materials onto machinery.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Collate, count, and package finished printed materials accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Support senior bindery staff with various tasks as needed.
  • Learn and adapt to new bindery techniques and equipment.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (not required, but a plus).
  • Understanding of basic safety procedures.
