Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Remote E-learning Developer to join our dynamic Global Learning & Development team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing engaging digital learning experiences that support Siemens employees worldwide. You will transform complex technical and business information into interactive, effective, and visually appealing e-learning modules, ensuring our workforce has access to best-in-class educational content.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive e-learning modules, courses, and educational materials using authoring tools.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to define learning objectives and content requirements.
- Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Integrate multimedia elements such as graphics, audio, video, and animations into e-learning content.
- Develop assessments and evaluations to measure learning effectiveness.
- Ensure all e-learning content is SCORM/xAPI compliant and compatible with our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Maintain and update existing e-learning modules based on feedback and content changes.
- Stay current with emerging e-learning technologies and instructional design trends.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in e-learning development and instructional design.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Lectora).
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models.
- Experience with multimedia development and editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Ability to create engaging visual content and user interfaces.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Experience working in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content publishing.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with video editing and animation software.
- Portfolio demonstrating previous e-learning projects.
