Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Linfox Logistics as a Part-time Loading Dock Hand. This ongoing position offers consistent day work in our busy Osborne Park facility. You will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of goods, ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking reliable part-time work and looking to build a career in logistics, with full training provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently from trucks and containers.
- Sort, scan, and stage incoming and outgoing goods.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment on the loading dock.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required (training provided).
- Perform general warehouse duties and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage but not essential.
- Current forklift license (LF/LO) is a plus.
