Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate WFH Support Coordinator to join our team, focusing on providing essential community service support to clients across the Mount Gambier region. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to make a meaningful impact from the comfort of your home office. You will be responsible for coordinating services, providing information, and offering empathetic support to individuals accessing our diverse range of programs. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a client-centred approach, and a strong commitment to our values. You will play a crucial role in ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate assistance, navigating complex service systems, and empowering them to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive remote support and information to clients, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
- Coordinate and facilitate access to various community services, internal programs, and external referrals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records using our CRM system, adhering to all privacy regulations.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client enquiries, offering solutions and guidance in a professional manner.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external service providers to ensure seamless client pathways.
- Monitor and follow up on client progress, ensuring ongoing support and advocating for their best interests.
- Adhere strictly to Uniting Communities policies, procedures, and relevant legislative requirements.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 applications and client relationship management (CRM) software.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a client-centred approach to service delivery.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to navigate challenging situations effectively.
- A reliable home office setup with stable internet connection and a quiet working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a community services, NDIS, aged care, or similar support coordination role.
- Knowledge of the local community service landscape in regional South Australia.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
