Job Description
Pioneer Electrical Contractors is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sparkie’s Helper in Mount Gambier. This is an entry-level position designed for someone with no prior electrical or construction experience who is eager to learn the electrical trade from the ground up. You will work alongside experienced electricians on various construction sites, assisting with tasks that support electrical installations and maintenance. Full training will be provided to ensure you develop the necessary skills and safety knowledge for a rewarding career in the electrical industry. Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with a variety of tasks on job sites, including pulling cables, preparing conduits, and securing fixtures.
- Safely carry and move tools, equipment, and materials as directed by senior electricians.
- Perform basic clean-up of work areas, ensuring sites are tidy and free of debris and waste.
- Hold wires, conduits, and other components steady for electricians during installation or repair.
- Actively learn and practice safe work procedures and site safety protocols.
- Operate basic hand tools under direct supervision.
- Support the team in maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required; full, comprehensive training will be provided.
