Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Bread Delivery Assistant to join our night shift team in Toukley, NSW. This full-time role involves the crucial task of ensuring fresh bread and bakery products are delivered efficiently and on time to our valued customers throughout the night and early morning hours. If you are a night owl, possess a strong work ethic, and are committed to consistent, quality service, this opportunity with a high hourly rate is for you. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Load fresh bread and bakery products safely and efficiently into delivery vehicles
- Navigate established delivery routes across the Central Coast during night hours
- Deliver products to designated customer locations, including bakeries, supermarkets, and cafes
- Unload products carefully and accurately, ensuring correct quantities are delivered
- Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and uphold food safety standards
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules to ensure products arrive fresh and on time
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies promptly
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License (Class C or higher)
- Ability to work independently and reliably during night shifts
- Good physical fitness, capable of lifting and carrying bread crates (up to 20kg)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to punctuality and adherence to delivery schedules
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery or logistics roles is an advantage but not essential
- Familiarity with the Central Coast NSW region
