Job Description
Are you a natural entertainer with a passion for puzzles and people? Cape Breton Escape Adventures is seeking enthusiastic and engaging individuals to join our team as Escape Room Game Masters! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves interacting with the public, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is available to work weekends. No prior escape room experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure you’re ready to guide our adventurers through their thrilling quests. Your primary role will be to ensure our guests have an unforgettable and seamless experience, from initial greeting to final victory (or defeat!).
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival, explaining rules and safety guidelines.
- Monitor active games, providing timely and appropriate hints to enhance the guest experience without giving away too much.
- Manage game flow, ensuring a smooth and immersive experience for players.
- Reset game rooms efficiently and accurately between sessions, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Process bookings and payments accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all guests and staff.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and assist with other operational tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong ability to problem-solve quickly and think on your feet.
- Excellent attention to detail for game monitoring and room resetting.
- A positive, energetic, and enthusiastic personality.
- Reliable and punctual, with consistent weekend availability.

- Comfortable with basic computer operations and point-of-sale systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (retail, hospitality, entertainment).
