Job Description
As an Incident Response Coordinator at TransLink Logistics Australia, you will be at the forefront of managing and mitigating operational incidents within our dynamic transport network. This pivotal role requires a calm, decisive, and highly organized individual capable of coordinating rapid responses to various disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on our services and upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and execution of incident response plans for operational disruptions (e.g., accidents, breakdowns, environmental spills, security breaches).
- Act as the primary point of contact during incidents, liaising with internal teams, emergency services, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
- Document incident details, actions taken, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analysis to identify systemic issues and recommend preventative measures.
- Develop, maintain, and refine incident response procedures and protocols to enhance organizational readiness.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on incident reporting and initial response actions.
- Monitor real-time operational status and identify potential risks proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards during incident management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in incident management or emergency response, preferably within the transport, logistics, or a similar high-stakes operational environment.
