Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Aquaculture Labourer to join our team at our coastal fish farm in Geelong, Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are physically fit, and eager to learn about modern aquaculture practices. As an Aquaculture Labourer, you will be involved in the daily operations of the fish farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our aquatic stock and the smooth running of our facilities. Full training will be provided for all tasks, making this an ideal role for entry-level candidates passionate about marine life and sustainable food production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily feeding routines and monitoring fish health and behaviour.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of farm infrastructure, including nets, pens, and tanks.
- Monitor and record water quality parameters, reporting any anomalies.
- Participate in harvesting operations, sorting, and grading of fish.
- Operate and maintain various farm equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of farm facilities and report any issues or damage.
- Follow all biosecurity and animal welfare guidelines rigorously.
- Contribute to a clean and organised work environment.
- Assist with other general farm duties as required.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
