Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our growing team in Tillsonburg, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity for licensed professionals looking to advance their careers with a leading aerospace firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various aircraft types, ensuring the highest standards of safety and airworthiness are met. A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates willing to move to the Tillsonburg area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft systems and components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
  • Document all maintenance actions accurately and thoroughly in aircraft logbooks and maintenance records.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, flight crew, and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and new aircraft technologies.

Required Skills

  • Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License (M or E rated)
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and schehaematics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and diagnostic tools
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a variety of aircraft types relevant to regional or cargo operations
  • Additional endorsements or specialized training (e.g., specific engine types, avionics systems)
  • Familiarity with digital maintenance records systems
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
