Job Description
Join Signature Aviation as an Aircraft Refueler / Line Service Technician! This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about aviation, even without prior experience. We provide comprehensive, full training to equip you with the skills needed to excel in this critical role on the airport ramp. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient fueling and ground handling of various aircraft, working outdoors in a dynamic airport environment. Safety is our top priority, and you will play a key part in upholding our rigorous standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently fuel various types of aircraft according to company and industry standards.
- Perform aircraft marshaling, wing-walking, and towing operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to pilots, crew, and passengers.
- Assist with aircraft ground support, including lavatory and potable water services.
- Conduct daily quality control checks on fueling equipment and fuel supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including ramp and facility areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Operate ground service equipment (GSE) such as fuel trucks, tugs, and forklifts.
- Communicate effectively with flight crews, operations, and dispatch personnel.
Required Skills
- Ability to learn and adhere to strict safety procedures and regulations.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.
- Basic communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a physically demanding role or outdoor work.
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with equipment operation.
- Customer service experience in any industry.
