Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin to join our dynamic mobile engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, user-friendly Android applications that are critical to our core services and customer experience. You will work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to bring innovative features from concept to reality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.
- Work with RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications with backend services.
- Implement and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
- Stay up-to-date with new mobile technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our applications.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Kotlin programming language.
- Strong experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Android application lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of MVVM, MVI, or MVP architectural patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and network communication libraries (e.g., Retrofit, OkHttp).
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Published applications on the Google Play Store.
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger Hilt, Koin).
