Job Description
Are you a night owl looking for a physically engaging role in a unique environment? Mister Car Wash is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as an Automated Car Wash Tunnel Cleaner. This after-hours position is crucial for maintaining the pristine condition and operational efficiency of our state-of-the-art car wash tunnels. You will be responsible for deep cleaning the entire tunnel, including machinery, walls, and floors, ensuring everything is spotless and ready for the next day’s customers. This role involves working in a wet environment and requires comfort with industrial cleaning equipment and solutions. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals seeking an entry-level position with a stable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of the car wash tunnel, including brushes, conveyor belts, walls, and flooring, after operational hours.
- Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Mix and apply various cleaning solutions according to safety guidelines and product specifications.
- Inspect equipment for any wear, tear, or maintenance needs and report findings to management.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work independently and efficiently to complete nightly cleaning schedules.
- Assist with minor preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Manage and organize cleaning supplies and equipment.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight/after-hours shifts consistently.
- Comfortable working in a wet, humid, and sometimes dirty environment.
- Strong physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull heavy equipment for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial services, or a similar physically demanding role.
- Familiarity with operating power washing equipment or floor scrubbers.
