Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and energetic individual looking to kickstart your career in the exciting world of nightlife? Ignite Nightclub is seeking enthusiastic Barbacks and Glass Collectors to join our dynamic team in Joondalup. This entry-level role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn, offering comprehensive training to help you excel. You’ll be the backbone of our bar operations, ensuring our bartenders can focus on crafting amazing drinks while you keep the venue running smoothly and sparkling clean. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently clear and collect glassware from all areas of the nightclub.
- Sort, wash, and restock clean glassware to bar stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of bar areas, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping.
- Restock ice, garnishes, and other bar essentials throughout shifts.
- Assist bartenders with general duties to ensure smooth service flow.
- Empty bins and manage waste according to club procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Provide excellent support to all team members in a busy environment.
Required Skills

- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain one immediately).
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role (even if informal).
- Familiarity with nightclub operations.
