Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Bespoke Tailor / Alterations Assistant to join our dedicated team in Manchester. This role is crucial in supporting our experienced tailors and ensuring all customer garments are altered to perfection. You will be responsible for a variety of alterations tasks, from basic hemming to more complex garment adjustments, utilizing your strong sewing skills to maintain our reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of garment alterations including hemming, resizing, tapering, and repairing as instructed by senior tailors or customer requirements.
- Assist bespoke tailors with fittings, measurements, and garment preparation.
- Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines proficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Ensure timely completion of alteration orders while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with sales associates and other team members to provide an seamless customer experience.
- Handle delicate fabrics and luxury garments with utmost care and precision.
- Adhere to company policies and health and safety regulations.
