Job Description
Join our essential team as a Bin Loader in Chester! As a Bin Loader, you will play a vital role in keeping our communities clean and green by collecting various types of waste and recycling. This is a physically demanding role that requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the job, including safety protocols and equipment operation. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load waste and recycling onto collection vehicles.
- Operate bin lifting mechanisms and other collection equipment as required.
- Work collaboratively with your collection crew to complete routes on schedule.
- Adhere strictly to all company health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Provide excellent service to residents and businesses on your route.
- Report any issues, hazards, or maintenance requirements promptly to your supervisor.
- Assist with vehicle checks and basic maintenance as needed.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour and lifting tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- A full UK driving license would be beneficial but is not essential for this role.
- Previous experience in a physically demanding role or outdoor work.
