Job Description

Join our essential team as a Bin Loader in Chester! As a Bin Loader, you will play a vital role in keeping our communities clean and green by collecting various types of waste and recycling. This is a physically demanding role that requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the job, including safety protocols and equipment operation. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently load waste and recycling onto collection vehicles.
  • Operate bin lifting mechanisms and other collection equipment as required.
  • Work collaboratively with your collection crew to complete routes on schedule.
  • Adhere strictly to all company health and safety procedures and regulations.
  • Provide excellent service to residents and businesses on your route.
  • Report any issues, hazards, or maintenance requirements promptly to your supervisor.
  • Assist with vehicle checks and basic maintenance as needed.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour and lifting tasks.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • No prior experience required; full training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A full UK driving license would be beneficial but is not essential for this role.
  • Previous experience in a physically demanding role or outdoor work.
