Job Description
Linfox Australia is seeking dedicated and reliable Bulk Goods Handlers to join our heavy industry operations in Canning Vale, Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for ongoing full-time work within a dynamic and essential sector. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of various bulk materials, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to strict safety protocols. Full training will be provided, but a proactive attitude and a strong commitment to workplace safety are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a range of heavy machinery and equipment, including forklifts and front-end loaders, for bulk material handling.
- Load and unload bulk goods from trucks, trains, and storage facilities.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of bulk materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Perform routine pre-start checks and minor maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety incidents, or hazardous conditions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety in a heavy industrial environment.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, loaders) or a strong willingness to learn and be trained.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks as required.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Valid Australian driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a heavy industry, warehousing, or logistics environment (even short-term).
- Forklift license (LF) or other relevant heavy machinery tickets.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
