Job Description
Santa Barbara Auto Group is seeking enthusiastic and meticulous individuals to join our temporary event team as a Car Show Display Polisher. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for making vehicles shine. You will be responsible for ensuring our luxury vehicles presented at various car shows and events maintain a flawless, show-quality appearance. This is a temporary, event-based role, perfect for those looking for flexible work that fits their schedule and an opportunity to be part of high-energy automotive showcases. Full training on our specific detailing standards will be provided, making this an ideal role for entry-level candidates eager to learn and contribute.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean, polish, and detail the exterior and interior of display vehicles to maintain a pristine, show-ready condition.
- Apply wax, sealants, and other protective coatings as instructed.
- Perform quick touch-ups and spot cleaning throughout event hours to address dust, fingerprints, and minor imperfections.
- Safely handle and apply cleaning products and detailing tools.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of display areas, ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly.
- Collaborate with the event team to uphold the high standards of the Santa Barbara Auto Group brand.
- Report any vehicle damage or concerns to event management promptly.
Required Skills

- Ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Strong work ethic and reliability for event shifts.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive detailing, car washing, or similar roles (personal or professional).
- Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, based on event schedules.
