Job Description
Are you looking to start your career in retail and customer service? Asda in Blackburn is excited to offer an opportunity for a Cashier / Customer Service Assistant. No previous experience is required – we believe in potential and providing comprehensive training to help you succeed! You’ll be the friendly face our customers see, playing a vital role in their shopping experience by processing transactions accurately and providing helpful assistance. If you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for people, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the till system.
- Handle cash, card, and other payment methods responsibly.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting with enquiries.
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.
- Assist with bagging groceries when needed.
- Support the team by helping with general store duties as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
