Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS systems
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers warmly and assisting with inquiries
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and loyalty card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organised checkout area
- Assist with front-end merchandising and stocking shelves as needed
- Support store security measures by being vigilant and reporting suspicious activity
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and positive shopping experience for all customers
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full training provided!
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with good time management
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions
Preferred Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- A genuine passion for helping people and providing excellent service
