Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with expertise in both AWS and Azure platforms to join our innovative team in London, Ontario. This role is open to global talent and offers sponsorship for qualified candidates. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions for our diverse client base. You will play a pivotal role in transforming client infrastructures, guiding them through complex cloud migrations, and optimizing their cloud presence. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.
  • Develop detailed architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and best practice guidelines.
  • Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to high standards of security, performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, DevOps engineers, and client stakeholders to integrate cloud services and applications.
  • Conduct comprehensive architectural reviews and provide expert technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and continuously drive innovation within the team.
  • Support pre-sales activities, client proposals, and provide technical expertise during client engagements.
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues and provide strategic recommendations for resolution.

Required Skills

  • Extensive hands-on experience with core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with core Azure services (e.g., Azure VMs, Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, VNet, Azure AD, Monitor).
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture patterns, principles, and best practices (e.g., microservices, serverless, high availability, disaster recovery).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices in cloud environments, and data management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises integration strategies.
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Previous experience in a consulting role or working with enterprise-level clients across various industries.
