Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Cleaner to join our team for evening shifts in Devonport, Tasmania. This is a fantastic opportunity for consistent, ongoing work with a reputable global company. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial sites, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients and their employees. While previous commercial cleaning experience is beneficial, we prioritize reliability, a strong work ethic, and a keen eye for detail. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste removal.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Empty bins and replace liners.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while on client premises.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Reliability and excellent time management skills.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a similar role.
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation (may be required for multiple sites).
- Willingness to obtain a current Police Check.
