Job Description
ISS Facility Services Australia is seeking a diligent and reliable Commercial Office Cleaner to join our evening shift team in Parramatta. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients’ offices are meticulously maintained and presentable, contributing to a professional and healthy work environment. We are looking for an individual who is committed to high standards of cleanliness, possesses a strong work ethic, and can work independently to achieve excellent results during evening hours. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of office spaces, common areas, and meeting rooms.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchenettes, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Clean interior windows, glass partitions, and polished surfaces.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., vacuum cleaners, floor buffers if applicable).
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed during shifts.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company cleaning protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organised cleaning cart and storage area.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
- Effective communication skills.
- Legally permitted to work in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a similar role (e.g., hotel housekeeping).
- Knowledge of WHS (Work Health and Safety) practices in a cleaning context.
- Current police check or willingness to obtain one.
- Driver's license and own reliable transportation (desirable for site access, though public transport is available).
