Job Description

Are you a highly curious and analytical student eager to dive into the world of advertising and consumer behavior? Crimson Creative Group is seeking a Consumer Insights & Strategy Intern to join our team in Tuscaloosa. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning within a fast-paced agency environment. You will work closely with our strategy team, contributing to projects that help shape client campaigns and business decisions. No prior professional experience is required; we are looking for individuals with a strong desire to learn and contribute.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting primary and secondary market research, including competitor analysis, industry trends, and consumer demographics.
  • Support the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to identify key consumer insights.
  • Help develop clear and concise presentations that summarize research findings and strategic recommendations for clients.
  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas and strategic initiatives.
  • Learn to utilize various research tools and platforms to gather relevant information.
  • Collaborate with account management, creative, and media teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Contribute to the ongoing monitoring and reporting of campaign performance metrics.
  • Maintain organized records of research materials and findings.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and a strong eagerness to learn about consumer insights and advertising strategy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Junior or Senior year standing in a relevant undergraduate program.
  • Basic understanding of research methodologies or statistics (from coursework).
  • Prior experience with data visualization tools or survey software is a plus, but not required.
  • Active involvement in student organizations related to marketing, business, or communications.
