Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Data Analytics Lead to join our dynamic team in Akron, OH. This role is crucial for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions across various functions. The Data Analytics Lead will be responsible for leading a team of data analysts, developing and implementing advanced analytical models, and communicating complex findings to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Design, develop, and implement robust analytical solutions, dashboards, and reports to support business needs.
- Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of large, complex datasets from various sources.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for senior leadership and business stakeholders.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in data governance, data quality, and data security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, product development, and marketing, to identify data-driven opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and emerging analytical techniques to continuously improve our data capabilities.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise in at least one programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
- Proven experience with leading BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated data services.
- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
