Job Description
We are urgently seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our bustling culinary team at Hilton Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking for immediate start in a fast-paced and supportive environment. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of our dishware, kitchen utensils, and work areas, contributing directly to our high standards of hygiene and efficiency. Full training will be provided, so while previous experience is a plus, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Wash and properly store all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and storage areas.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or restocking supplies.
- Dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Support the culinary team in maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
