Job Description
Join the Woolworths team as an Early Morning Delivery Driver in Belconnen! This casual role is perfect for reliable individuals who enjoy early starts and want to make a tangible difference in our customers’ day. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering groceries to residential addresses, ensuring orders arrive fresh and on time. Full training will be provided, so no prior delivery experience is required. We are looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals committed to providing excellent service right from dawn.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload grocery orders from delivery vehicles.
- Navigate routes using provided delivery technology to ensure timely deliveries.
- Deliver groceries to customer homes with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Handle customer interactions positively and resolve minor issues as they arise.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company delivery procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily delivery targets.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License (P2 or Full License required).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 20kg) repeatedly.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to safe driving practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with the Belconnen area and surrounding suburbs.
