Job Description
Join the Victorian Electoral Commission as casual staff during our upcoming peak periods! This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in Australia’s democratic process. We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals to assist with various tasks essential to running elections. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. This role is perfect for those seeking flexible, short-term work that makes a real difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and pack-down of polling places.
- Verify voter identification and issue ballot papers accurately.
- Provide clear and concise information to voters regarding the voting process.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all electoral materials.
- Operate polling place equipment as required.
- Assist with counting and sorting ballot papers under supervision.
- Follow all VEC policies and procedures diligently.
Required Skills
