Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work at various events on weekends? Do you have a passion for providing excellent customer service and ensuring public safety? We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Stewards/Ushers to join our team in Kendal, Cumbria. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to all successful candidates. This is a perfect role for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the events industry, earn extra income, and be part of a vibrant team contributing to a positive event atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and direct attendees with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Check tickets and manage access control points efficiently.
- Provide clear information and assistance to event-goers regarding facilities and schedules.
- Monitor crowd movements and ensure the safe flow of people.
- Respond to queries and resolve minor issues professionally and courteously.
- Assist with seating arrangements and guide guests to their designated areas.
- Uphold event safety and security policies, reporting any incidents or concerns to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members and event staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Be an ambassador for the event and G4S Events, maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
