Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as an Excavator Spotter for part-time day work in Osborne Park, WA. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone eager to learn and begin a career in civil construction. Full training will be provided, ensuring you have all the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the role safely and effectively. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of ground personnel and equipment during excavation operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a vigilant eyes and ears for the excavator operator, ensuring safe distances are maintained.
- Guide the excavator operator using clear hand signals and verbal communication.
- Monitor the excavation area for unexpected hazards, utilities, and personnel.
- Maintain constant communication with the operator, particularly in blind spots or congested areas.
- Assist with basic site setup and packing down as required.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures and protocols.
- Report any potential safety concerns or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
