Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our dynamic events team as a Function Waiter. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of memorable weddings, sophisticated corporate gatherings, and other special occasions hosted at the iconic Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort. While previous experience is a plus, we welcome applications from individuals eager to learn, providing comprehensive training to ensure you excel in this exciting role. You will play a crucial part in delivering seamless service, ensuring every guest enjoys a premium dining and event experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up event spaces according to floor plans and client specifications, including tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, and decorations.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner, adhering to service standards.
  • Assist with plate clearing and table maintenance throughout events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of function areas before, during, and after events.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests courteously and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and other event staff to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with the pack down and reset of event spaces as required.
