Job Description
Macmahon Holdings Limited is seeking a dedicated and reliable Gatekeeper for a part-time role at one of our active construction sites in Kalgoorlie. This is a crucial, entry-level position perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the construction industry while ensuring site security and safety. As a Gatekeeper, you will be the first point of contact for all site visitors, contractors, and deliveries. Your primary responsibility will be to control access to the site, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a safe working environment. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in your duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control all incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and equipment at the construction site entrance.
- Verify credentials for all visitors, contractors, and employees, ensuring only authorised individuals gain access.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of all site traffic and incidents.
- Conduct routine checks of vehicles and deliveries for compliance with site safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with site management, contractors, and visitors regarding site rules and safety protocols.
- Assist with emergency procedures as required.
- Maintain a tidy and organised gatehouse area.
